excellent location for exploring Istanbuls night-life, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms have a 'budget' feel, but don't look run down. during my visit there was a renovation in progress, so improvements are on the way. Translate this guest review

Very good in its price category: clean rooms, good breakfast, central location, wifi internet in your room, private bathroom, and for all of that I only paid about E 25/night. Ask for a room in one of the upper floors, since the street is heavily trafficated all day and the neighbourhood can be very crowded because of the night life. Translate this guest review

This was my second stay in Grand Şeref Hotel. I have noticed some improvements but some other things went worse. Last year there was no possibility to get a breakfast. This year it was possible but the restaurant did not open before 8 (too late for us catching an early bus fro Istanbul park). Anyway, the breakfast was very humble and light. Since last year big trays of leaking appeared on upper floors (4&5). They were not fresh but gave an impression of dirtiness (very wrong impression as the rooms were cleaned every day). My room, facing the Tarlabaşi Boulevard, was very noisy because of heavy traffic so If possible, ask for a room facing the backyard. Nevertheless, the hotel still provides a great value for money with excellent position and friendly staff and I intend to come again. Translate this guest review
